Our heritage

Deoband, its textiles, and its everyday traditions

Deoband is known as a centre of learning, and its surrounding North Indian towns carry a long tradition of tailoring, embroidery, and textile work. House of Deoband draws on that setting to bring sherwanis, waistcoats, and women's suits together with the everyday essentials of religious practice.

The aim is a single, cohesive catalogue in which dress and devotional objects sit side by side, presented with restraint and respect for how they are used in daily life.

How we select

What we look for in every piece

Each item in the range is chosen against a few plain standards that reflect durability, modest styling, and practical everyday use.

Fabrics

We favour fabrics chosen for weight, weave, and how they hold their shape through regular wear and washing.

Attars and objects

Natural attars and devotional objects are presented for their everyday utility, with clear product detail and no exaggerated claims.

Printing and prayer wares

Classical texts and prayer wares are selected with care, so that sacred writing is respected and never used as decoration.
